Japan Airlines is elevating its premium wine offerings in 2025 by introducing the renowned Beaujolais Nouveau crafted by Pierre Ferraud
for select international flights and exclusive airport lounges across Japan, starting November 15.
The Pierre Ferraud winery, established in 1882, remains a benchmark for quality Beaujolais, consistently earning top accolades—including a four-star distinction from acclaimed wine critic Robert Parker.
Esteemed French chef Thierry Marx
has once again partnered with Pierre Ferraud to curate a bespoke wine for Japan Airlines:
Beaujolais Village Nouveau - Vieilles Vignes Non Filtré - Thierry Marx Special Edition 2025
. This unique vintage is produced from carefully selected old vines, overseen by Chef Marx, and crafted exclusively for discerning Japan Airlines First and Business Class guests, perfectly complementing JAL's award-winning inflight cuisine.
To enhance the tasting experience, JAL will also offer PAIN AU BEAUJOLAIS from Maison Kayser, a specialty bread incorporating Beaujolais Nouveau into its dough. This artisanal bread will be available on select long-haul flights and in the premium lounges at Haneda and Narita.
As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation and culinary excellence, JAL continues to introduce seasonal and regionally inspired menus, ensuring travelers enjoy one of the most anticipated wine releases of the year both onboard and in flagship lounges from November 15, 2025.
