Jet Aviation has introduced an ultra-luxurious VIP cabin concept for the Boeing Business Jet 777X,
debuted in partnership with Boeing at the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) event. This latest interior, named Shaheen—meaning
Royal White Falcon
—is designed to harmoniously unite contemporary sophistication with timeless elegance. The BBJ 777X, now one of the most advanced private aircraft platforms, showcases Jet Aviation’s vision for bespoke interiors.
The Jet Aviation Design Studio in
Basel, Switzerland
collaborated closely with Boeing Business Jets to create this expansive, globe-trotting interior for the BBJ 777X.
Taking full advantage of the BBJ 777X’s vast cabin, the layout features expansive lounges, a dedicated entertainment and cinema suite, a refined office, private work zones, three guest bedrooms, and a palatial master suite. The master suite includes a private lounge, sumptuous sleeping quarters, a grand dressing and bathing area, and an oversized shower with a traditional hammam. The configuration is tailored for 43 guests and an 11-member crew, ensuring privacy and comfort at every turn.
"Our approach was to blend heritage and modernity, using contrasting materials, color palettes, and architectural cues," shared Elisabeth Harvey, Director of Design at Jet Aviation Basel Completions Center. "We achieved this with luminous, intricately detailed ceilings and sidewalls—featuring classic paneling and contemporary patterns—set against rich, dark wood flooring that echoes the ceiling motif with precision marquetry. Light-toned wall and bulkhead finishes are complemented by sleek, vibrant furnishings, enhanced with engraved inlays and floral textile accents.
"Curated art installations, such as Jeff Koons’ balloon rabbit sculpture in the dining area and a deconstructed mirror by Matthias Kiss in the master lounge, inject playfulness and personality. The result is a meticulously balanced, imaginative expression of form, texture, and color that defines our signature cabin aesthetic."
Greg Laxton, Head of Boeing Business Jets, praised Jet Aviation’s relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation in VIP completions.
"Jet Aviation Basel stands as a benchmark for quality in cabin completions," said Laxton. "Their BBJ 777X concept seamlessly fuses striking visual design with the latest advancements in onboard technology."
Matt Woollaston, Vice President of Completions Sales, elaborates: "We prioritized weight reduction and spatial efficiency by integrating fiber optics and multi-functional, technology-enabled furnishings. Forward-thinking features such as adaptive digital LED lighting, OLED panels, and Smart Glass windows—capable of variable tint and digital curtain effects—are standard throughout the cabin. We anticipate these innovations, along with gesture and voice-activated controls, will redefine the future of private aviation interiors, delivering an elevated, intuitive passenger experience."
