JetBlue unveils Mint 2.0

JetBlue, headquartered at JFK, has redefined premium air travel with the unveiling of Mint 2.0—its upgraded business class concept.

Designed to deliver exceptional comfort and privacy at accessible fares,

JetBlue’s Mint reshaped the competitive landscape when it first launched in 2014, directly challenging legacy carriers like United, American, and Delta by offering exclusive amenities without the traditional premium price tag.

This year, JetBlue fully debuts its transatlantic routes—connecting JFK and Boston with London—showcasing a refreshed Mint cabin that sets new benchmarks for U.S. airlines. Mint 2.0 also features on select high-demand domestic routes, including the flagship New York to Los Angeles service.

After a meticulous five-year development process, Mint 2.0 is now flying, introducing 24 private suites—each equipped with a fully closing door for unparalleled seclusion.

Among these is the groundbreaking Mint Studio: two ultra-spacious suites offering the largest footprint of any U.S. airline business class, at 2.1 square meters (22.7 square feet). These Studios provide a full-length lie-flat bed and a configurable guest seat, allowing two passengers to enjoy the space together. The Studio’s bed measures over one meter wide, complemented by a best-in-class 22-inch entertainment display.

The standard Mint suites are equally impressive, featuring lie-flat seating upholstered in vegan leather, a 17-inch HD entertainment screen, and elegant sliding doors for complete privacy.

JetBlue has also elevated its inflight amenities since late 2020. Passengers now enjoy curated culinary menus, Master & Dynamic MH40 noise-cancelling headphones, Wanderfuel wellness kits, and Tuft & Needle sleep sets—ensuring a rejuvenating journey from takeoff to landing.

“Mint was conceived to make premium travel across the U.S. approachable and refreshingly modern, and it has surpassed our boldest ambitions by expanding beyond New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco,” shares Joanna Geraghty, JetBlue’s President and COO. “The response to Mint’s thoughtful design has been extraordinary as we’ve expanded to nearly 100 routes. This latest redesign reflects our enduring commitment to delivering a world-class experience at a competitive price—true to the JetBlue ethos.”

JetBlue’s Mint 2.0 is available primarily on Airbus A321 and A320 aircraft, flying nearly 100 routes spanning the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America.
