Google Home continues to redefine the digital landscape with its intuitive voice technology. In alignment with KLM’s commitment to delivering a seamless and personalized travel experience, the airline now offers four advanced voice-activated services for Dutch-speaking guests. Two of these tools are entirely new, while the other two enhance KLM’s existing voice capabilities. Each service is crafted with sophisticated artificial intelligence and proprietary KLM technology to elevate the customer journey. The phased launch begins today, with all voice functions becoming accessible to Dutch users within the next month.
Personalized Travel Inspiration
The newest feature enables travelers to discover tailored destinations based on preferences such as desired flight time, budget, travel period, and trip style. Through a brief, interactive conversation, Google Home suggests three curated destinations, each accompanied by a concise overview. Instant ticket pricing is conveniently sent to the user’s mobile device, ensuring a smooth planning process.
Smart Departure Scheduler
The second innovative service offers precise guidance on when travelers should arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport prior to their flight. By integrating directly with Schiphol’s real-time data via API, the departure scheduler factors in mode of transportation—be it car or public transit—and provides a personalized recommendation on departure time from home, supporting stress-free travel logistics.
