Drawing inspiration from the grand lobbies of Europe’s legendary palace hotels, the new reception sets a benchmark for luxury hospitality in London. The reception area, now among the most expansive in the city, features a dramatic sense of arrival and seamlessly connects to an elevated dining venue designed by Lissoni, marking the property’s most significant enhancement since its reopening over a decade ago.
"My vision was to capture the authentic pulse of London—its dynamic modernity balanced with classic refinement," Lissoni shares. "It is a celebration of the city’s unique spirit, expressed through design."
The lobby’s vast proportions are accentuated by a bespoke Murano glass chandelier that bathes the space in a warm, inviting glow, greeting guests as they pass through soaring double-height revolving doors.
Towards the rear, the reception and guest services desks are complemented by curated bookshelves, featuring an exclusive collection from Maison Assouline, offering both literary intrigue and design sophistication.
Furnishings are hand-selected from celebrated Italian ateliers including Paolo Castelli, Poltrona Frau, Cassina, and Living Divani, ensuring each detail exudes contemporary luxury and artisanal craftsmanship.
Above the lobby, Lissoni’s vision extends to a 110-seat signature restaurant, now open and garnering acclaim for its modern European cuisine and immersive design.
