Lufthansa Offers A La Carte Menu In Economy And Premium Economy Class

Starting this year, Lufthansa elevates its Economy and Premium Economy experience with a curated à la carte dining menu on intercontinental flights.

Travelers seeking enhanced inflight dining can now pre-order from a selection of seven chef-inspired “À la carte dining” meals for an additional fee on long-haul journeys.

The menu features options such as expertly grilled steak, an authentic Japanese Bento Box with premium sushi, traditional Bavarian delicacies, a health-focused Asian vitality plate featuring quinoa, Mediterranean pasta with succulent shrimp, and a fragrant Thai curry. Each selection is crafted to offer a refined taste of global cuisine.

Guests can personalize their inflight meal by choosing from multiple variations tailored to individual preferences, all elegantly presented on fine porcelain dinnerware to elevate the onboard ambiance.

The multi-course à la carte meals are available on nearly all Lufthansa long-haul routes departing from Frankfurt and Munich. These gourmet offerings, priced between 19 and 33 euros, are served in place of the standard first meal service and can be reserved up to 24 hours before departure via lufthansa.com. Existing complimentary meal and beverage services in Economy and Premium Economy remain unchanged, ensuring all guests continue to enjoy Lufthansa’s renowned hospitality.
