Lufthansa Opens Cosy New Lounge In Milan

Lufthansa has introduced an exclusive lounge at Milan Malpensa Airport, blending local Milanese flair with modern comfort for discerning travelers.

Travelers departing from this prominent northern Italian hub now have access to a sophisticated sanctuary in Terminal 1A, where authentic Milanese cuisine meets refined hospitality. Guests are treated to signature aperitivo selections, artisanal pasta, and expertly crafted espresso by skilled baristas, all within a thoughtfully curated space.

Spanning 550 square meters, the lounge accommodates up to 117 guests, embodying Lufthansa’s latest lounge design philosophy. The layout prioritizes both privacy and relaxation, creating a welcoming environment ideal for productivity or unwinding before a flight.

According to Lufthansa, their vision is for guests to feel as comfortable as they would in their own living rooms—an ethos reflected in every detail of the lounge’s design.

Flexible room dividers and an advanced lighting system offer tailored seating options and ambiance. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the airfield, while plush Vitra furnishings and design touches enhance the luxurious atmosphere. The premium washroom facilities, crafted by Villeroy & Boch, add an extra layer of sophistication.

A standout feature is the open kitchen, where chefs prepare Italian specialties to order, ensuring every meal is both fresh and bespoke. At the central bar, a dedicated barista serves up a menu of coffee creations and classic Italian aperitifs—including Campari, Martini, and Aperol—accompanied by gourmet finger foods. For guests on a tight schedule, the Coffee Corner near the entrance offers a quick yet high-quality grab-and-go option.
