With the introduction of the innovative "Sleep Individually Different" room category, Mövenpick has partnered with renowned Swedish bed designer YouBed to deliver a fully adjustable sleep experience. This industry-first concept leverages YouBed’s patented spring system, allowing guests to customize mattress firmness on each side, ensuring a personalized and restorative rest.
Launched to coincide with World Sleep Day, the "Sleep Individually Different" rooms are now available across Mövenpick properties in Germany, Holland, and Switzerland. This initiative sets a new benchmark for sleep quality in upscale hospitality, responding to growing demand for tailored guest experiences.

Over an extensive six-month trial, guest response to the customizable beds was overwhelmingly positive.”
Ivarsson continues, “These rooms are meticulously designed to create an ideal sleep environment, combining adjustable bed technology with thoughtful touches such as blackout drapes, soundproofing, and individually controlled lighting. For an additional €15 per night, "Sleep Individually Different" rooms include premium amenities such as silk sleep masks, noise-canceling earplugs, aromatic lavender pouches, and discreet covers for electronic device LEDs. Complimentary herbal teas and signature Mövenpick chocolate are also provided to enhance relaxation before bedtime.
To ensure the most tranquil setting, these rooms are situated in the hotel’s quietest zones, furnished with floor-to-ceiling blackout curtains and natural-fiber luxury linens. Guests may select from a curated pillow menu and request hypoallergenic bedding, underscoring Mövenpick’s dedication to wellness and individualized comfort.
