New Air France Lounge In Paris Features Private Saunas And Detox Bar!

Air France has officially reopened its state-of-the-art Business Class lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, now boasting exclusive private saunas, a curated wellness bar, and immersive French culinary experiences.

Strategically situated in Hall L of Terminal 2, this newly transformed lounge welcomes Business Class travelers and Flying Blue Elite Plus members into a sanctuary of refined comfort and sophisticated design. The comprehensive renovation delivers a spacious, tranquil environment designed to elevate the pre-flight experience for discerning global travelers.

Anne Rigail, Air France’s CEO, describes the rejuvenated lounge as a “cornerstone of Air France’s ongoing commitment to premium service,” in the tradition of the acclaimed Terminal 2G lounge. She emphasizes the brand’s focus on “surprising guests with bespoke amenities centered around well-being and haute cuisine.”

Every element of the lounge is curated to achieve harmony between French elegance, contemporary comfort, and creative flair. Conceived in partnership with renowned design firm Brandimage, the space radiates Parisian chic through luminous palettes and iconic furnishings, offering a calm yet invigorating atmosphere.

The highlight for many is the expansive wellness zone—now the largest ever in an Air France lounge, spanning over 550 square meters. Guests can unwind in the dedicated “Instant Relaxation” suite with ergonomic loungers and semi-private pods, or visit the detox bar, where a sommelier presents a rotating menu of rare teas and healthy infusions. The spa area, created in collaboration with Clarins, features two private treatment cabins staffed by expert therapists, as well as two exclusive Finnish-inspired saunas and indulgent rain showers.

Culinary excellence is at the heart of the lounge’s offering. The signature "La Table Gourmet" invites guests to savor authentic French gastronomy, with live chef demonstrations and à la minute hot dishes prepared before your eyes. Complementing the menu is an impressive wine and Champagne list, meticulously curated by Paolo Basso, recipient of the World’s Best Sommelier award.

For those seeking flexibility, the self-service area offers a changing selection of seasonal delicacies, including artisanal casseroles, crisp salads, and gourmet pastries—showcasing the best of regional produce.

Since the final phase of the lounge’s expansion, including a striking art installation by celebrated French designer Mathieu Lehanneur, the Air France Business Lounge at CDG now stands as one of Europe’s premier airport sanctuaries for luxury travelers.
