Nobu Hotel set to open in Riyadh

After an extended anticipation, Nobu Hotel Riyadh has officially opened its doors, welcoming discerning travelers to the heart of Saudi Arabia’s vibrant capital. This highly anticipated property introduces 119 expansive guest rooms and suites, setting a new standard as Riyadh’s inaugural five-star boutique luxury hotel.

Occupying a striking 23-floor glass tower, Nobu Hotel Riyadh seamlessly integrates the renowned Nobu restaurant on its second level, offering guests immediate access to world-class Japanese-Peruvian cuisine upon arrival.

Each guestroom is the result of meticulous design by the acclaimed Rockwell Group of New York, whose portfolio spans celebrated Nobu properties in Las Vegas and Miami, as well as iconic restaurants in Dubai and New York. The interiors blend refined Japanese minimalism with subtle regional accents, creating a tranquil and sophisticated ambiance that pays homage to Nobu’s heritage.

Guests enjoy access to an indulgent spa, a cutting-edge fitness center, an exclusive executive lounge, versatile meeting spaces, and elegant ballrooms. The property’s interiors showcase Nobu’s global signature of understated luxury—sleek lines, artisanal finishes, and advanced smart technology—while the exterior architecture features layered, patterned glass that gracefully nods to Arabian design traditions.

Since its debut in New York City in 1994—a visionary partnership between Chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa and actor Robert De Niro—the Nobu brand has established nearly 50 restaurants worldwide, spanning destinations from Malibu and Marbella to Dallas and Doha. Its signature offering, the celebrated black cod with miso, remains a mainstay. The first Nobu Hotel launched at Caesars Palace Las Vegas in 2013, and the portfolio has since expanded to over a dozen locations globally. With the Riyadh opening, alongside recent launches in Toronto and Tel Aviv, Nobu continues to elevate the landscape of luxury hospitality in 2025.
