Norwegian launches three new long-haul routes between Paris and the US

Norwegian is set to debut new nonstop transatlantic routes, connecting Paris Charles de Gaulle directly to New York from July 29, Los Angeles from July 30, and Fort Lauderdale starting August 4.

As one of Europe’s leading low-cost carriers, Norwegian will provide four weekly flights between Paris (CDG) and New York (JFK), twice-weekly service to Los Angeles (LAX), and a weekly departure to Fort Lauderdale (FLL). These mark Norwegian’s inaugural long-haul departures from Charles de Gaulle, enhancing the airline’s presence in the French capital. Previously, Norwegian operated from Paris Orly Airport to destinations across Scandinavia.

Since the launch of its first long-haul operations, Norwegian has rapidly expanded its network, now offering over 38 direct connections between Europe and the United States, catering to both leisure and business travelers seeking affordable, high-quality transatlantic travel.

“We already operate nonstop flights from London, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. Adding Paris as our fifth major long-haul hub is a testament to our dedication to the French market. Paris remains a pivotal European gateway, and we see significant opportunities for future growth and increased frequencies at Charles de Gaulle,” remarked CEO Bjørn Kjos.

Norwegian continues to be recognized for its sustainability efforts. The International Council on Clean Transportation recently ranked Norwegian as the most fuel-efficient transatlantic airline, underscoring its commitment to environmentally responsible operations.

In recent years, Norwegian has further broadened its long-haul footprint with additional routes such as Oslo-Boston, Copenhagen-Boston, London-Boston, and London-San Francisco, reinforcing its status as an innovator in affordable, direct air travel between Europe and North America.
