Oneworld has once again been distinguished as the leading airline alliance for in-flight wine excellence, securing the top honor at this year’s prestigious Cellars in the Sky Awards, hosted by the global travel publication, Business Traveler.
This accolade, presented in partnership with the International Wine Challenge, follows meticulous blind tastings of hundreds of premium wines poured on long-haul routes by 33 international carriers. The judging panel, composed of five esteemed wine authorities, assessed each label for quality, balance, and pairing potential at altitude.
With this latest victory, Oneworld celebrates its eighth win of this renowned award—affirming its ongoing commitment to curating a world-class wine program for discerning travelers across its member airlines.
The 2025 awards also highlighted individual member airlines: British Airways received the "Best Overall Cellar" distinction, Japan Airlines earned accolades for "Best First Class Red Wine," American Airlines was recognized for "Best First Class White Wine," and Finnair was awarded "Best Business Class White Wine."
