Qatar Airways has unveiled a completely refreshed on-board dining program for its First and Business Class guests, featuring newly curated menus, bespoke tableware, and elegant cutlery and porcelain.
Debuting across the airline's European network and now expanded fleet-wide, the upgraded culinary concept emphasizes local flavors and global influences. Passengers will discover exclusive signature dishes tailored to each route, such as wild mushroom and truffle risotto on Italian flights, reflecting a dedication to authentic regional cuisine.
Classic Arabic specialties—including kabsa, biryani, and expertly grilled meats—bring the essence of the Middle East to the skies, complemented by an all-new selection of warm desserts for Business Class and a refined afternoon tea service available on select itineraries.
Every element, from petite pepper and Himalayan salt grinders to linen-lined bread baskets filled with freshly baked artisanal breads, demonstrates Qatar Airways’ meticulous attention to detail and commitment to elevating the dining experience.
According to Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, the airline continues to partner with regional farms and providers, championing a ‘farm-to-table’ philosophy that ensures the freshest ingredients and supports local communities.
“Our seasonal menus are inspired by the world’s finest produce, incorporating locally sourced, sustainable ingredients and celebrating authentic culinary traditions, all while maintaining the highest international standards,” Al Baker shared in a recent press statement.
In response to rising guest demand for wellness-focused cuisine, Qatar Airways now offers an expanded array of lighter fare, including vibrant salads, fresh berries, wholesome warm oatmeals, and more. Select routes also feature nutritious cold-pressed juices and enhanced beverage offerings for health-conscious travelers.
First Class guests enjoy an upgraded caviar presentation, now paired with Balik-style salmon and elegantly served on custom-designed crystal plates for a touch of indulgence at altitude.
Building on the popularity of its pre-order meal service, First and Business Class passengers can continue to select their preferred main course from the à la carte menu up to 14 days prior to departure and as late as 24 hours before their flight.
This pre-select feature complements Qatar Airways’ signature Dine-on-Demand service, allowing premium travelers to enjoy restaurant-quality meals at their preferred time throughout the journey.
