SAS EuroBonus members can now seamlessly redeem points for flights across all 28 Star Alliance airlines directly through the online platform.
With this digital upgrade, Business and First Class redemptions with Star Alliance partners now require, on average, 18% more points than before. However, points needed for Economy Class redemptions on Star Alliance partners, as well as all SAS-operated flight awards, remain unchanged.
“Our members are passionate about exploring the globe using their EuroBonus points. This new online tool makes it effortless to search and book award tickets with any of our Star Alliance partners in just a few clicks,” says Johan Mägi, Head of EuroBonus at SAS.
“Exclusive EuroBonus access to Star Alliance’s global benefits and award flights is a key reason our members stay loyal. By digitizing the booking process, we’re opening up the entire world for our members—something no other Scandinavian program matches. This enhancement further strengthens the EuroBonus program in 2025.”
Previously, booking Star Alliance award flights was only possible by calling customer service—now, the process is entirely online for greater convenience.
