After years of anticipation, Singapore Airlines is introducing a signature amenity kit for its Business Class guests, aligning its offering with the world’s most luxurious carriers. Previously, these curated kits were reserved for First Class and Suites passengers, but the airline is now extending this thoughtful touch to Business Class as part of its ongoing commitment to passenger comfort and premium service.
Frequent flyers will recognize that Singapore Airlines has always prioritized in-cabin essentials: slippers, dental kits, high-quality moisturizers, and more have long been available either in the Business Class lavatories or on request from attentive crew. However, until now, a take-home amenity kit—an increasingly expected feature among global premium airlines—was notably absent. This new initiative ensures Business Class passengers receive a stylish kit to use during their journey and beyond.
Singapore Airlines historically believed that distributing full amenity kits in Business Class led to unnecessary waste, as many travelers left them behind or used only select items. Instead, the airline focused on providing a broad array of luxury toiletries and grooming products onboard. Meanwhile, competitors have enhanced their premium offerings with branded amenity kits, setting new standards for passenger experience.
There have been select occasions where Singapore Airlines provided amenity kits to Business Class, such as on the pioneering nonstop Singapore–New York route. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from these trials has driven the decision to roll out amenity kits on most long-haul routes, with the exception of the short Singapore–Kuala Lumpur sector. While the full details and precise rollout schedule are still being finalized, preview images reveal an elegant set crafted in partnership with renowned British perfumer Penhaligon’s. Penhaligon’s products, already a staple in the Business Class lavatories, bring an extra dimension of luxury to the inflight experience.
Singapore Airlines continues its collaboration with Lalique for First and Suites Class amenity kits, underscoring its dedication to working with world-class brands. Since the introduction of Premium Economy, travelers in that cabin also receive a thoughtfully designed kit, and even Economy Class guests are provided with essential amenities on select long-haul services. This latest enhancement further cements Singapore Airlines’ reputation among the world’s leading luxury airlines.
