Singapore Airlines' New B787-10 To Feature Brand New Regional Business Class

This week, Singapore Airlines proudly welcomed its first Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner to its fleet, introducing a reimagined regional Business Class cabin designed to elevate the premium travel experience across Asia-Pacific routes.

With the arrival of the 787-10, Singapore Airlines embarks on a comprehensive fleet enhancement program that also encompasses the latest Airbus A350 aircraft, further reinforcing the carrier’s reputation for innovation and luxury in the skies.

Each updated regional aircraft features an all-new Business Class suite, as confirmed by leading aviation sources. Travellers can expect a sophisticated 1-2-1 seating layout for direct aisle access, with seats that transform into fully flat beds, ensuring restful journeys on regional flights. Both the 787-10 and the A350 will offer only Business and Economy cabins, focusing on privacy and comfort for discerning passengers.

The official unveiling of the 787-10’s new Business Class occurred during a high-profile ceremony in Singapore, underscoring the airline’s commitment to setting new benchmarks in luxury travel.

Singapore Airlines strategically deploys its 787-10 Dreamliners on regional routes up to eight hours, including signature services to Osaka and Perth. Prior to full-scale scheduling, select flights to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur served as the proving ground for crew familiarization and product fine-tuning.

The Boeing 787-10, constructed with advanced composite materials and spanning 68 meters, stands as the largest Dreamliner variant. Passengers benefit from an enhanced inflight environment, featuring customisable mood lighting, oversized electronically dimmable windows, superior air filtration, and a noticeably quieter cabin.

As the world’s leading operator of the 787-10, Singapore Airlines continues to set industry standards. Together with Scoot’s operation of the 787-8 and 787-9, the Singapore Airlines Group remains the only airline group globally to operate the full Boeing Dreamliner family, a testament to its forward-thinking fleet strategy.
