Singapore Airlines has pioneered a new era of healthy luxury dining in the skies with their innovative 'Deliciously Wholesome' menu, specially curated for discerning travelers who value both nutrition and flavor. This wellness-focused culinary program is now available on select Singapore-departing flights and within the SilverKris Lounges at Changi Airport, setting a new standard for health-conscious gourmet travel in 2025.

Our tasting journey began with the Sous Vide Miso-Braised Beef Yamato, complemented by nimono vegetables and delicate potato, reflecting the airline’s commitment to global culinary excellence.

Travelers can now savor an array of vibrant, nutrient-dense creations, such as crisp salads brimming with superfoods and expertly balanced mains. These dishes are the result of collaborations with the airline’s renowned International Culinary Panel—eight celebrated chefs whose expertise shines in every bite.

Signature entrées include Namyu Cod Fish and Jinlen Soy Chicken, served alongside brown lamien noodles and earthy wood ear mushrooms, encapsulating the essence of modern Asian cuisine.

For a refreshing starter, the Free-Range Marinated Chicken is artfully presented on a spring salad bouquet, enhanced by cheese shavings, roasted walnuts, and a delicate white balsamic vinaigrette.

The development of the 'Deliciously Wholesome' menu was an exhaustive process, engaging frequent flyers through taste panels and focus groups, ensuring every dish met the highest expectations for both nutrition and flavor.

Diners will also discover a Duo of Watercress Salad and Smoked Trout, elegantly paired with shaved fennel, crisp apples, and a bright yuzu jelly in maple vinaigrette—an ode to contemporary, nourishing cuisine.

Singapore Airlines worked closely with acclaimed dietitian Mayura Mohta, author of ‘The Heart Smart Oil Free Cookbook’ and ‘The Wholefood Kitchen’, who meticulously reviewed each recipe for nutritional integrity, ensuring each meal aligns with the latest dietary science.

The Citrus Steamed Sea Bass, accompanied by lettuce purée, legumes, radishes, and sunflower seeds dressed in citrus vinaigrette, exemplifies the airline’s focus on revitalizing, light options for long-haul wellness.

According to Ms. Mohta, “Every 'Deliciously Wholesome' meal is thoughtfully designed to support passenger well-being on long journeys. We incorporate whole grains, lean proteins, vibrant vegetables, seeds, and nuts, all rich in essential macronutrients and micronutrients to combat the effects of jetlag and dehydration.”

Among the highlights: Baked Herb-Marinated Salmon atop potato, boiled eggs, beets, and arugula salad with a Dijon mustard vinaigrette, a perfect balance of taste and nutrition.

Premium passengers in Suites, First Class, and Business Class can pre-select these wellness-centric dishes via the acclaimed 'Book the Cook' service, with a variety of vegetarian and plant-based options now available to meet diverse dietary preferences.

Other standout entrees include Baked Pistachio-Crusted Lamb Chops with fruit yogurt salsa and mint chutney, as well as Chilean Seabass nestled on kale and quinoa salad, finished with tomato jelly and almond flakes—each dish expertly crafted for maximum nourishment at altitude.
