Star Alliance unveils refurbished lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle

Star Alliance has unveiled its fully revamped Signature Lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport, setting a new benchmark for premium pre-flight hospitality. Spanning 980 square metres, this contemporary retreat accommodates over 220 guests and incorporates refined Parisian aesthetics throughout its design.

The lounge welcomes First and Business Class passengers, as well as Star Alliance Gold members, departing from Terminal 1 on member airlines including Aegean, Air China, ANA, Asiana, EGYPTAIR, EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Turkish Airlines, and United Airlines.

Christian Dräger, Vice President of Customer Experience at Star Alliance, remarked: “Our redesigned Star Alliance Lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle exemplifies our ongoing commitment to elevating the travel experience. Guests departing or connecting through Paris can now enjoy an exceptional blend of comfort, style, and tailored amenities.”

Originally opened in 2008, the lounge is situated post-passport control at the terminal’s uppermost levels—floors 10 and 11—offering sweeping panoramic vistas of the airport from its spacious upper level. Operating daily from 5:30am to 10:00pm (hours may vary with flight schedules), the newly enhanced lounge delivers a suite of services curated for discerning international travelers. Notably, the lush outdoor garden terrace invites guests to unwind in a tranquil setting reminiscent of Paris’s iconic parks prior to boarding.

For guests flying First Class on Air China, Singapore Airlines, or Thai Airways, a dedicated, secluded area ensures added exclusivity and privacy.

Visitors can indulge in a complimentary selection of premium beverages and savor an array of international cuisine, featuring seasonal French specialties and classic favorites from around the globe.

Ergonomic workspaces are positioned on both levels, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout. The lounge now offers a significantly increased number of power outlets, ensuring seamless connectivity for all travelers. Additional amenities include private shower suites, advanced entertainment screens, and an extensive library of international newspapers and magazines.

The Paris CDG Terminal 1 lounge is part of Star Alliance’s global network of elite lounges, joining flagship locations in Amsterdam (AMS), Buenos Aires (EZE), Los Angeles (LAX), Nagoya (NGO), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Rome (FCO), and São Paulo (GRU).
