SWISS unveils its refined First Lounge A at Zurich Airport, setting a new benchmark for luxury airport hospitality. This exclusive space features a bespoke à la carte restaurant and a dedicated barista bar, where guests can savor an extensive collection of Swiss grappas and artisanal fruit brandies.
Reserved for First Class passengers and Lufthansa Group HON Circle Members, this 650-square-metre retreat is conveniently located in Terminal A, accessible via a private escalator from the main departure hall.
The lounge’s ambiance is defined by natural oiled-oak flooring, Jura limestone walls, and designer furnishings from renowned Swiss brands like Vitra and de Sede. The design echoes the sophistication of the acclaimed SWISS First Lounge in Terminal E, offering a seamless luxury experience.
Guests benefit from a private check-in area and a dedicated security checkpoint. The lounge also boasts serene suite areas, a club lounge with sumptuous leather seating, a well-equipped business center, and a meeting room with panoramic apron views.
Additional amenities include a tranquil relaxation zone with two daybeds and a stylish smokers’ lounge featuring an outdoor terrace and a curated whisky selection.
The lounge’s signature feature is the expansive barista bar, where travelers can indulge in specialty coffees and select from over 100 varieties of premium Swiss grappas and fruit distillates.
Gastronomy takes center stage here, with a choice between an à la carte dining room and a live cooking station. Guests may opt for attentive table service or enjoy the flexibility of self-service, catering to every preference.
The First Lounge A welcomes guests daily from 05:30 to 22:30, ensuring comfort throughout the day.
Complementing the lounge’s debut, SWISS continues to offer its distinguished chauffeur service for arriving First Class guests at Zurich. Passengers are personally greeted at the aircraft and swiftly transferred to the appropriate passport or security area in Terminal A or B, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
