Take A Look At Philippine Airlines' New A321neo Business Class Seat

Philippine Airlines has introduced its sophisticated business class offering aboard the Airbus A321neo, setting a new standard for regional premium travel.

The business class cabin features 12 ergonomically designed seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration, each transforming into a fully flat bed for optimal rest on longer flights.

Each seat is thoughtfully angled toward the windows, enhancing privacy and providing sweeping views, though the design means window passengers do not have direct aisle access.

Economy class has also been refreshed, now offering 156 seats in a streamlined 3-3 layout, maximizing comfort and efficiency for all travelers.

The updated cabins are now in service on the Manila to Brisbane route, following the deployment of the A321neo, which replaced the previous A340 aircraft that operated this sector.

Previously, the A340 business class offered 36 lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 arrangement, but the A321neo’s new seats deliver a superior experience, with enhanced comfort and more personal space—exact seat dimensions have been optimized for today’s discerning traveler.

Philippine Airlines’ President and COO, Jaime J Bautista, remarked: “Brisbane is a vital gateway as we welcome more Australian travelers to the Philippines, a destination renowned for its vibrant culture and luxury escapes.”

“As a Skytrax 4-Star Airline, we remain the only carrier offering a network of direct flights from Australia and New Zealand to the Philippines, and we continue to invest in our next-generation A321neo fleet—among the youngest in Asia—to provide a uniquely Filipino, world-class journey.”
