This elevated cabin experience is now available across TAP’s modern fleet, including the state-of-the-art Airbus A330neo on long-haul journeys.
The standout feature is the significant increase in personal space. The seat pitch has been expanded from a compact 28 inches to a generous 33 inches, providing noticeably more legroom and comfort for discerning travelers.

Travelers booking Classic or Plus fares, as well as TAP Miles&Go Gold and Navigator members, are automatically entitled to the enhanced EconomyXtra experience. Those on Basic or Discount fares have the flexibility to upgrade and enjoy all EconomyXtra privileges at booking or anytime before departure, according to TAP’s latest policy update.
All passengers in Economy benefit from TAP’s celebrated in-flight beverage service, featuring a curated selection of premium Portuguese wines. Guests may choose between a light snack or a full meal, depending on the route and fare, ensuring a tailored dining experience. TAP continues to refine its service model, offering a differentiated onboard product based on fare class and aircraft configuration.
