Turkish Airlines has expanded its fleet with the addition of the cutting-edge Airbus A350-900, elevating its long-haul travel offering to new heights.
Following pandemic-related setbacks, Turkish Airlines has now incorporated a significant number of its 25 ordered Airbus A350 aircraft, with the majority already serving global destinations. The carrier continues to roll out these aircraft across key international routes as demand rebounds and network expansion continues in 2025.
The Airbus A350 remains a benchmark for fuel efficiency in the long-haul market. Leveraging advanced Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines and lightweight composite materials, the aircraft delivers up to 25% lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions compared to previous-generation widebodies.

Initially, Turkish Airlines operated the A350 on select domestic routes—such as Istanbul to Ankara—to familiarize crew and passengers with the aircraft. As of 2025, the A350-900 now flies on flagship long-haul routes, including London, Dubai, New York, and select destinations in Asia. As the fleet continues to grow, expect further deployment to the airline’s most in-demand intercontinental services.
