The Polaris Lounge in Houston celebrates the city’s dynamic spirit, seamlessly blending contemporary design with local flair. Throughout the space, you'll find striking works by Houston-based artists Shane Tolbert and Terrell James, reflecting the city’s vibrant art scene. Culinary highlights pay tribute to Houston’s diverse palate, featuring a Texas-style breakfast skillet, Cajun-inspired andouille sausage with chicken étouffée, Argentinian chimichurri roasted chicken, indulgent tres leches dessert bites, and the signature United Polaris Burger.
The bespoke cocktail list includes the fiery Caliente on the Rocks—crafted with Casamigos Tequila, fresh orange juice, and a signature house sour, topped with a jalapeño slice for a bold finish—as well as classic caipirinhas made with cachaça, lime, and sugar. Guests can also enjoy unique house infusions such as star anise vodka and bourbon steeped with oolong tea, catering to discerning palates.
With seating for up to 191 guests, the lounge features abundant charging stations, six serene shower suites equipped with rainfall showers and Cowshed Spa amenities from Soho House & Co,
dedicated valet assistance, and an intimate private dining room offering full table service for up to 28 guests.
Houston’s Polaris Lounge joins United’s elite network of premium lounges, following successful launches at San Francisco International and Newark Liberty International. The Los Angeles Polaris Lounge, now fully operational, completes United’s strategic expansion of exclusive pre-flight experiences for global business travelers.
