AMAN launches superyacht in 2025

After trailblazing luxury hotel brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, and Orient Express expanded into the world of bespoke cruising, AMAN has now introduced its inaugural ultra-premium yacht to the market.

Named Project Sama, this elite vessel will offer just 50 expansive suites, promising an intimate and exclusive journey when it embarks in 2025.

The internationally celebrated AMAN brand—currently under Russian ownership—has partnered with a division of Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund to bring this 183-metre, 23,000-gross-tonne superyacht to life in the famed shipyards of Italy.

With accommodation for only 100 discerning guests, AMAN’s floating sanctuary ensures an atmosphere of privacy and tranquillity, contrasting with Ritz-Carlton’s Evrima, which welcomes up to 239 passengers.

Four Seasons is also entering the ultra-luxury cruise space in 2025, unveiling a 14-deck yacht with 95 lavish suites to rival the world’s finest at sea.

Globally, AMAN has expanded its portfolio to 34 exquisite properties, including three in the United States (New York, Utah, and Wyoming) and a fourth opening in Miami. The brand continues to set benchmarks in experiential hospitality.

Meanwhile, Accor is preparing to launch the 220-metre Orient Express Silenseas in 2026, which aims to be the largest sailing ship ever built. This vessel will offer 54 guest suites, two swimming pools, a signature spa, dual restaurants, and a contemporary speakeasy bar.
