Jumby Bay caters to families, couples, and anyone seeking true tranquility. The all-inclusive model redefines luxury, offering only the finest amenities and personalized service at every turn.

Accommodation

Jumby Bay Island is perfectly positioned just northeast of Antigua, making it the fifth largest island in the nation of Antigua and Barbuda. The island is accessible only via private boat transfer—a swift six-minute ride from the dedicated Jumby Bay jetty at Dutchman Bay on the main island, itself only a brief drive from VC Bird International Airport.

With the Atlantic Ocean to the north and east and the tranquil Antiguan coastline to the south and west, Jumby Bay offers both dramatic seascapes and gentle island views. Guests can easily reach St. John’s Heritage Quay duty-free shopping district in just 20 minutes by car from Dutchman Bay, or journey 40 minutes to the iconic Shirley Heights Lookout, one of Antigua’s most celebrated attractions.

Restaurants & Bars

Jumby Bay Island’s rich heritage dates back to Christopher Columbus’s arrival in 1493, but today it’s synonymous with sophisticated seclusion and architectural elegance. Many of the world’s elite have chosen Jumby Bay as their private Caribbean address, commissioning bespoke homes that blend contemporary luxury with classic island charm.

The historic Estate House, once the centerpiece of a thriving sugar plantation and built in the 1830s, now serves as the resort’s fine-dining flagship. Its stately colonial architecture and lush gardens evoke a sense of timeless grandeur, providing a refined backdrop for gourmet experiences and sunset cocktails.

Sustainability

Dining at Jumby Bay Island is a journey through Caribbean flavors and international gastronomy. Guests can savor meals in the comfort of their suite, villa, or residence—villas are equipped for self-catering, while private chefs elevate the experience in residences with bespoke menus.

The Estate House restaurant is a culinary destination in itself, showcasing the finest local seafood, meats, and produce. It is consistently ranked among the best dining venues in the Caribbean.

The 1830 Bar is an elegant spot to enjoy a glass of champagne or a handcrafted cocktail before or after dinner.

The Jumby Bay Bar & Lounge is the resort’s social hub, perfect for casual meals and relaxed gatherings. The Veranda offers à la carte breakfast, leisurely lunches, and informal evening dining in a breezy, open-air setting.

For guests who wish to dine right by the sea, the Sand Bar serves fresh Caribbean-inspired fare, including sushi and ceviche, steps from the water.

Genny’s Bar is a laid-back beachside retreat, renowned for its traditional bohio architecture and refreshing drinks.

The Beach Shack delights with vibrant Caribbean street food, blending Latin and West Indian influences for a lively culinary experience.

The Hut, Little Jumby, is the island’s chic new beach club, offering brasserie-style seafood and a sophisticated ambiance on neighboring Little Jumby.

Throughout the year, guests can anticipate pop-up dining events, festive beach parties, and the option to enjoy private dinners beneath the stars—every meal can be tailored to your desires.

True to its name, "Jumbee" means "playful spirit"—and that sense of joy infuses every moment on the island.

What We Love

Jumby Bay Island is a leader in sustainable luxury, home to the world’s longest-running Hawksbill turtle conservation program—the Jumby Bay Hawksbill Project, active since 1987. Guests may witness these endangered turtles nesting at Pasture Bay Beach, a rare and moving experience. The island also protects the native White Egret and Persian Black-Headed Sheep, both at-risk species.

Jumby Bay’s robust recycling efforts make it Antigua’s largest recycler of bottles, cans, and golf cart batteries. All wastewater is purified and reused for irrigation, while plant trimmings are converted into mulch and compost for the lush landscaping.

The spa exclusively uses organic treatments, featuring Tata Harper’s renowned green beauty range.

With no cars allowed, the island maintains a pristine, pollution-free environment, affirming its reputation as the Caribbean’s greenest private island.
