Following the success of the Aviation Gin Bar at BA’s JFK Terminal 7 lounge, the premium spirit is now featured across the airline’s global network, including both short-haul and long-haul flights.
The exclusive collaboration takes centre stage on British Airways’ flagship London Heathrow to Portland, Oregon route—an especially fitting choice as Aviation American Gin was originally crafted in Portland. Ryan Reynolds, who joined the brand as a co-owner and ambassador in 2018, continues to play an active role in its global growth, even after the label’s high-profile acquisition by Diageo for $610 million. Reynolds remains a minority stakeholder, ensuring his creative influence endures.
Travellers in long-haul cabins are treated to complimentary pours of Aviation Gin, while those flying short-haul can savour it for £6 via the Speedbird Café menu—a nod to the airline’s commitment to offering premium options for every passenger.
Aviation American Gin is distinguished by its balanced blend of botanicals—cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper, and two varieties of orange peel—resulting in a refined, velvety profile that redefines modern gin. The London Heathrow to Portland route operates five times weekly aboard the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, offering 214 seats, including 35 in Club World and 25 in World Traveller Plus.
