Air France unveils its new Business Class lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle

France’s reputation for effortless elegance is on full display at the newly unveiled Air France Business Class lounge in Terminal 2F at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Spanning an impressive 3,000 square metres—roughly half the size of a football field—this sophisticated space welcomes up to 570 guests across two expansive levels. As one of the crown jewels in Air France’s lounge portfolio, it caters to Business Class travelers and Flying Blue Elite Plus members departing or transiting on Air France’s Schengen network. For those flying in Economy, access is available for a fee, subject to availability, ensuring exclusivity remains paramount.

Created through a close collaboration between Air France and the acclaimed Jouin Manku Agency—famed for their transformative design of Marrakech’s legendary La Mamounia—the lounge is a masterclass in contemporary French luxury. Designers Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku envisioned every detail, from the architectural flow to the custom furnishings, curating an atmosphere that soothes and inspires before departure.

Natural materials such as terrazzo, volcanic stone, rich woods, and supple leather lend a tactile warmth, while the signature Air France palette—deep blues, luminous whites, and bold touches of red—reflects both heritage and modernity. Iconic motifs, including the airline’s winged seahorse emblem, are woven throughout the design, reinforcing a sense of identity and connection to French aviation history.

Upon arrival, guests enter via seamless boarding pass scanning, greeted by a striking art installation reminiscent of soaring aircraft wings. This centerpiece sets a tranquil, cocoon-like tone that pervades the lounge.

A sweeping curved glass wall at the heart of the space invites natural light and reveals panoramic views of the runways and sky, infusing the lounge with a sense of openness and possibility.

Connectivity is a given, with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and abundant charging stations strategically placed for convenience.

Both levels feature culinary counters celebrating the best of French gastronomy. Throughout the day, guests enjoy an array of seasonal quiches, artisanal salads, and gourmet sandwiches. At breakfast and lunch, an in-house chef crafts fresh pancakes and daily specialties. The curated wine selection—handpicked by an expert sommelier—complements an extensive offering of premium teas and specialty coffees.

Upstairs, tranquil relaxation zones beckon, complete with ergonomically designed loungers and ambient lighting, ideal for unwinding before a flight.

For those seeking rejuvenation, the Clarins Spa area offers the exclusive Traveller Spa experience, featuring complimentary 20-minute facials using the latest Clarins products. The wellness suite includes ten rain showers and a spacious changing facility—an invaluable amenity for travelers in transit.

With its commitment to innovation and guest comfort, Air France continues to redefine the airport lounge experience worldwide. The Terminal 2F flagship sets a new gold standard, ensuring loyal flyers enjoy a seamless, curated journey from the moment they arrive at the airport.
